Rangatahi Division Free Thanks to WRA Sponsorship
The Cambridge to Hamilton Paddle Race is back on 13 September, and this year the Waikato River Authority is continuing to sponsor free entry for all junior paddlers.
Paddlers of every level take on the Waikato River, from the full 23km Cambridge-to-Hamilton course to the 11km half from the Narrows Landing. Thanks to WRA’s support, the Rangatahi 11km Paddle Race is free for juniors across kayak, SUP and waka ama – however numbers are limited:
- Waka single 11km (Junior) – Individual, FREE
- Waka 6-man 11km (Junior) – Team of 6, FREE
- Waka 2-man 11km (Junior) – Team of 2, FREE
- Under 18yrs 11km (half) – Individual, FREE
- Red Paddle 10km SUP Schools Race – Individual, FREE
- CRNZ Kahwai Youth Event – FREE
Race day (13 September): Registration opens 7:00am at the Cambridge Boat Ramp, main 25km briefing at 9:00am, staggered starts from 9:30am.
